Ascend Greater Washington Inspiring Across Generations

Ascend Greater Washington holds its 15th Inspiring Across Generations conference on Monday, November 16, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM at the Inova Center for Personalized Health, 8100 Innovation Park Drive in Fairfax. The registration page calls it the chapter's main professional-development day and says lunch is part of the gathering. A second page on the same site, titled Purpose in Motion, publishes a grid: opening panel on allyship and sponsorship, a reverse panel of early-career speakers, lunchtime headshots, a short film, breakouts on the Peter Principle and AI, and a scholarship presentation. That second page also lists a 5:00 to 7:00 PM Diwali stop at a place called Karma and still toasts "2024 award winners." Karma has no street address there. Buy the day that ends at 5:00 PM. Treat the evening line as leftover copy until the chapter deletes it.

Ascend is the pan-Asian leadership network founded in 2005. Greater Washington is the DC-area chapter, and the page calls this the 15th annual conference. The checkout lists a general ticket at $150 plus a $3.75 service fee. The same widget says the early-bird sale ends October 31 and, in another line, that the window ran until November 1, 2025. Read the total on the live button, and confirm the charge is for November 16, 2026, before you pay. Enrolled university students can request a free ticket. The chapter says it will confirm enrollment before you walk in. Business casual. Bring cards. The page says parking is on site.

This is right for DC, Arlington, Tysons, and Fairfax professionals who can take a Monday, and for students who can use the free ticket if the chapter approves it. The Asian American Chamber's holiday reception is a different night, Thursday, November 19, at the Mansion at Strathmore in North Bethesda. Use the Fairfax registration page for the hours and the price. Treat the Karma line on the schedule page as unverified until the chapter removes the 2024 reference. The contact is GreaterWashington@AscendLeadership.org.

Innovation Park Drive is west of the Beltway, so a 9:30 AM start from downtown DC is a real commute. The registration page is the clock: 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The schedule page lists rooms on a 10th floor and an 11th floor and does not tie those floors to the Inova street address. Ask at check-in which room you are in. One speaker bio on the schedule page names Tony Scardino, vice president of internal audit at CrowdStrike. Other names are not filled in. A panelist counts for the drive once the name is on the registration page.
