APABA-DC Tea Time with the Women's Forum

Hosted by Asian Pacific American Bar Association of the Greater Washington, D.C. Area (APABA-DC)

When
August 12, 2026 · 5:30-7:30 PM
Where
Spot of Tea (Dupont Circle), 2101 P Street NW, Washington, DC 20037Washington, DC (Dupont Circle)

APABA-DC’s Tea Time with the Women’s Forum is a members-only social at Spot of Tea’s Dupont Circle shop—upstairs reserved space, bubble tea from the house, and pastries from Rose Ave bakery. Registration is $5 through Wild Apricot. The bar association is explicit that this is a social, not a marketing floor: no direct business solicitations. That boundary is the quality signal—APA lawyers catching up without a vendor-badge free-for-all.

APABA-DC is the Greater Washington affiliate of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association. Its calendar mixes mentorship circles, book club, picnic, and the annual gala; Women’s Forum programming is one of the clearer gender-and-profession rooms for Circuit DC’s legal corridor. Dupont is easy on Metro and walkable for Downtown and Foggy Bottom offices.

Wednesday, August 12, 2026, 5:30–7:30 PM at Spot of Tea, 2101 P Street NW. Register at apaba-dc.org/event-6780851; membership is required for the $5 ticket path. Spaces were listed as limited on the calendar—confirm status before you block the evening. Arrive ready to talk practice area and career stage, not pitch decks.

This tea is right if you are an APABA-DC member, especially a woman lawyer or Women’s Forum regular, who wants a low-pressure Dupont social. Join first or wait for an open event if you are not a member yet. Govcon BD dinner density and a public startup rooftop are different graphs. Treat it as community maintenance inside the APA bar network.
