Richmond Chamber is the municipal business chamber for Richmond, the Lower Mainland city with heavy Chinese Canadian commercial density along No. 3 Road and the river. The Business Excellence Awards have run since 1977. The host says about 14,000 businesses are licensed in Richmond, 33 nominees reach the finalist stage, and 11 receive awards. Finalist lists on the page span small business through green business and association of the year. This is denser than the chamber's Strictly Networking Dim Sum on November 10 at Fortune Terrace, and it is a different host and night from Ascend Vancouver's year-end gala at the Pan Pacific on November 20.

Go if you operate in Richmond or sell into Richmond and want the city's signature chamber recognition night. Skip it if you needed a pan-Asian leadership dinner Downtown the next evening, or if the Dim Sum introductions lunch already covered your Richmond ask for the month. Sponsorship questions go to rcc@richmondchamber.ca or 604-278-2822.

River Rock sits on River Road by the Canada Line Bridgeport area. Budget parking and a slow Thursday arrival for a 5:30 welcome. Screenshot confirmation before the November 12 cutoff. Canadian dollars and GST apply. Trust the live chamber page for finalist names and the menu over a forwarded graphic.
