TechTO: Together Toronto (YC W27 Application Session)

TechTO's Together Toronto returns Monday, October 5, 2026 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at U of T's Schwartz Reisman Innovation Campus, 108 College Street. Listed pricing is about $40 general admission and free for TechTO members. The night stacks doors-open networking, community open mic, speaker presentations and a fireside, then more networking before an off-site after-party announced on site. An optional Y Combinator Winter 2027 application info session runs 5:00 to 6:00 PM by approval only; TechTO notes it is not affiliated with YC. As of late September the Luma cart showed sales ended, so treat membership and waitlist paths as the live options and re-check before you commute.

TechTO is Toronto's densest recurring tech community franchise, and Together is the flagship monthly format already familiar on Circuit (Commerce Toronto ships later in October). Speakers named on Luma for this edition include Ankita Sharma of Philer, Raghav Midha of Terminal, Lylia Djait-Paulien of Tyce, and Mike Masterson of Supermoon Capital. Discovery District founder density is the traffic hook: operators who skipped Health Toronto still get a named downtown room with food-and-drink logistics that match prior Together nights.

This is right for Toronto founders, operators, engineers, and investors who want honest build stories rather than a suburban chamber breakfast. Skip the YC add-on unless you are actively filing a W27 application before the November 2 deadline on the Luma page. Skip the main night if you need a PE dealmakers filter or a black-tie entrepreneur gala; Together stays casual and community-led. Bring a clear role, not a cold deck, and leave buffer for College Street check-in and the after-party decision at 9:00 PM.

If you already booked Commerce Toronto on October 13, use this Monday for the broader Together franchise and keep Commerce for retail and CPG density. Start on the TechTO event page, confirm Luma or member access, and re-check after-party notes the day of the event.
