Markham Board of Trade AGM + Networking Reception

The Markham Board of Trade’s AGM and networking reception pairs the chapter’s 46th Annual General Meeting with an After 5 block at YSpace Markham. It is a chamber governance night that still leaves real time for introductions among Markham members, sponsors, and guests. Governance runs about 4:00 to 5:00 PM, then After 5 until 7:00 PM. If you want Markham or York Region board-of-trade density in the same Innovation District corridor as YSpace programming, this is the mid-month stop. Door prizes from contributing sponsors Payworks and TRIPS4LESS sit at the end of the evening, not in place of the AGM.

Markham Board of Trade is the named host. YSpace Markham, at 169 Enterprise Boulevard, is York University’s entrepreneurship hub in the Innovation District, which is why this night has a different feel from a restaurant After 5. Members are listed free; non-members $45 plus HST. Members should still log in for member pricing and register. Registration deadline is 12:00 AM August 18. Name-badge printing deadline is 1:00 PM August 19. A $25 no-show fee applies if you neither transfer your ticket nor cancel with 48 hours’ notice. Ticket transfers inside your company are allowed if you tell the board 48 hours prior.
