Ascend Toronto Diwali Soirée

Ascend Toronto holds Ascend Into the Glow, its Diwali Soirée, on Thursday, November 12, 2026, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Microsoft's Canadian headquarters, 81 Bay Street, 43rd floor, in CIBC Square. The Eventbrite agenda lists registration from 5:00 to 6:00, opening remarks and a short Diwali story from 6:00 to 6:15, then celebrating and networking until 8:00. Catering is listed from Govardhan Thal and Poopathy Mess. There is a mehndi artist, activities with prizes, a best-dressed contest, and dancing. The chapter says the night is free this year as sponsor appreciation.

Ascend Canada is the pan-Asian professional network's Canadian organization. Toronto's Diwali is one of its larger fall socials. The listing has sold out and reopened in waves. Eventbrite copy named further ticket releases on evenings including November 5 and November 9. If the button still says sold out when you look, wait for the next drop or ask a sponsor contact rather than buying a screenshot from a third party.

This is right for Ascend members, sponsors, and professionals who want a Financial District Diwali room with food and introductions. Skip it if you needed the Punjabi Chamber social the night before or TiE's Spirit Awards on November 23. Those are different hosts and different stakes. Talent showcase asks go to Angha Gupta at angha2@hotmail.com per the Eventbrite note.

81 Bay is Union Station adjacent. A 5:00 registration start is workable if you leave a Bay Street desk a few minutes early. Screenshot your ticket when a drop opens. Building security will want a name that matches the list. Traditional or festive dress is encouraged for the contest; business casual still works if that is what you have.
