JAS-NET Happy Hour — New Chair & Chair-Elect

JAS-NET’s August happy hour is the Japan-America Society of the State of Washington’s young-professional / networking lane meeting new chapter leadership on Mercer Island—not a Downtown tech Meetup. The Society is a long-running PNW host for U.S.–Japan business, education, and cultural ties; this night introduces Chair Josh Ishibashi (infrastructure and construction program leadership) and Chair-Elect Keisuke “Greg” Umeki (Mitsui & Co. mobility / regional leadership) in a conversation-first Crawlspace Gastropub setting.

Tickets on the JASSW page are about $25 for members and $35 for non-members, including one drink and shared appetizers. Membership discounts are the Society’s usual on-ramp if you expect to return for golf, gala, or small-business programs. Eastside placement matches where many Japan-linked corporate and household networks already live.

Mercer Island Town Center parking is usually simpler than Downtown garages; still leave buffer for I-90.
