One Way Summit 2026

One Way Summit 2026 runs Wednesday and Thursday, October 28-29, 2026 at The Commonwealth Club, 110 The Embarcadero. Host copy targets about 1,000 attendees for the flagship immigrant-founder conference, with Standard, Premium, and VIP passes on Luma. Day one covers workplace AI, immigrant-edge venture, fintech gaps, and visa uncertainty. Day two covers AI infrastructure, talent, investing, and a Startup Grind pitch finals block before a happy hour. Speakers listed on the live site include Anna Makanju (OpenAI), Severin Hacker (Duolingo), Cal Henderson (Slack), Immad Akhund (Mercury), and Nicolas Dessaigne (Y Combinator).

One Way positions itself as the annual room for immigrant founders who build a large share of U.S. unicorns, with Unshackled Ventures, visa counsel, and country partners in the program. That is the Circuit traffic hook for Bay Area diaspora operators who already live the visa and fundraising stack: a named two-day franchise rather than another generic AI meetup. Side events can run the surrounding week; treat those as optional add-ons on the host site. The track record is the repeat summit format plus One Way Ventures adjacency, not a one-off community meetup.

This is right for immigrant and first-gen founders, operators, and investors who want Embarcadero main-stage density plus visa and talent panels. Skip it if you need a Korean American chamber dinner, a closed TiE member lounge, or a short evening mixer under three hours. Guests who only want a single keynote without two full days of programming will feel overcommitted; block both dates or skip.

Logistics run across two days on the Embarcadero. Buy early on Luma if you want the lowest posted Standard, Premium, or VIP tier, read the sponsor data-sharing opt-out before you register, and plan transit or hotel partners listed on Luma if you are flying in. Re-check Day 2 pitch-finals and happy-hour timing closer to October 28. Do not invent door prices from memory; the Luma cart is the live quote.

If you already booked TiE SV Funding Fridays earlier in October, use this late-month summit for the broader immigrant-founder graph. Start on onewaysummit.com or the Luma cart, confirm pass type, and treat surrounding-week side events as optional rather than required for the main badge.
