ACG San Diego Day at the Races

ACG San Diego’s annual Day at the Races is the chapter’s summer private-capital tradition—Thursday, August 20, 2026, 1:30–6:00 PM PDT at Del Mar Thoroughbred Club, 2260 Jimmy Durante Boulevard. The host frames trackside networking with private-capital professionals, executives, and dealmakers from San Diego, Los Angeles, and Orange County, plus an upgraded buffet. It is members-only, with two guests permitted per member. Members pay $105; member guests pay $175. If you are not a member, join ACG or email DKulowitch@acg.org to be added to the waiting list—do not assume a public door.

Del Mar / Jimmy Durante is North County coastal dealmaker geography—the same strip as the Hilton San Diego/Del Mar where SABPA’s BioPharma Conference lands in late September. Association for Corporate Growth is not a diaspora chamber, but it is the durable M&A and PE room Asian operators in biotech, defense, and professional services actually use when the introduction is a transaction, not a Convoy mixer. Same day as BVS’s scientist-and-vendor lunch at Alexandria Torrey Pines (11:00 AM–1:30 PM). Those are different graphs: lab purchasing vs. dealmakers. Pick one unless you have a driver and a brutal buffer.
