The Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival in New York is the 36th annual Meadow Lake weekend: Saturday-Sunday, August 8-9, 2026, at Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens. Admission is free, rain or shine. HKDBFNY, Inc. is the independent nonprofit host. Races start at 9:00 AM and run through early evening both days: Open, Youth Invitationals, charity and nonprofit boats, and Corporate Challenges. The grounds add a main stage, arts and crafts, and an international food court. This is Circuit New York’s Queens / Flushing culture-and-sponsor floor, not a Midtown chamber lunch. The festival calls itself one of the largest dragon-boat weekends in the U.S. and the city’s largest multicultural park festival.
