Ascend Houston Inspiring Across Generations

Ascend Houston holds its Inspiring Across Generations conference on Friday, November 6, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Walter Johnson Conference Center on the 9th floor of 1717 West Loop South. That is the Amegy Bank event space, on the west side of the Loop by the Galleria. The chapter calls the day Forward with Purpose. The public page describes leadership, mentorship, and local networking for people at more than one career stage. It does not name speakers or a session grid.

Ascend, founded in 2005, is a pan-Asian business membership group with chapters across U.S. and Canadian metros. IAG is the chapter's regional conference, a full workday with a register link. The registration record stays open through November 4. The public page does not print a dollar amount. Read the checkout before you decide the day is free.

This is right for Houston professionals who can take a Friday in the Galleria and want a pan-Asian room across industries. Skip it if you need a published agenda before you block the day, or if you are driving from Sugar Land only for a named keynote that has not been announced. North Texas readers have a different Ascend room the same Friday, a three-hour ERG summit at TIAA in Frisco. That one is for people who run an employee resource group. This Houston day is the broader conference.

Arrive for a 9:00 AM start on the 9th floor. West Loop traffic on a Friday morning is the constraint, so the earlier garage entry is the calm one. The contact on the listing is houston@ascendleadership.org. If a speaker list appears after you register, read it. Until then the locked facts are the date, the West Loop address, the hours, and the November 4 registration cutoff. That cutoff lives on the registration record. The public page carries the theme and the register button.
