ACG Houston’s Women’s Forum summer lunch series is a small-table networking format inside the Association for Corporate Growth’s middle-market deal community. ACG describes itself as a global network for professionals who invest in, own, and advise growing companies; the Houston chapter is one of the metro’s clearest named hosts for private equity, corporate development, lenders, intermediaries, and advisors who live in M&A calendars rather than founder pitch bars. The Women’s Forum lunches are explicitly capped (about 45 attendees on the Forum page; the chapter calendar lists a soft 50), first-come, first-served, which is the point: density over scale.
August lands at Ouisie’s Table on San Felipe, in the River Oaks / Upper Kirby restaurant belt where a lot of Houston professional lunch traffic already runs. The June and July stops in the same summer series used Caracol and La Griglia; the pattern is restaurant lunch, not a hotel ballroom keynote. Expect peer conversation among women in ACG’s Houston network more than a long formal program. Pricing is gated behind ACG registration; confirm member versus guest rates on the live event page before you assume walk-up access.
Thursday, August 13, 2026, 11:30 AM-1:00 PM CDT at Ouisie’s Table, 3939 San Felipe Street. Register through ACG Houston. Because the room is capped, treat early registration as part of the logistics, not optional. Bring a concise introduction that names your firm lane (buy-side, sell-side advisory, lender, operator) so the table can place you quickly.
This lunch is right for women in middle-market M&A, PE, corporate development, and related advisory seats who want Houston chapter density without a 200-person mixer. It is also useful for operators evaluating whether ACG Houston is worth a membership year. Skip if you need open founder pitch time, clinical medtech peers, or a pan-Asian chamber orientation; those are different Circuit rooms this month. Men are not the primary audience for Women’s Forum programming; read the registration rules on the ACG page rather than assuming a general chapter social. San Felipe parking and lunch-hour traffic are real; leave buffer.
