Chamber of Commerce Hawaii Young Professionals’ Exec Connect is a members-only talk-story lunch with three healthcare operators—Thursday, August 27, 2026, 11:45 AM–1:00 PM HST at a private Downtown location released after registration. Capacity is eight YP members per executive. Lunch and beverages are included (Cobb salad, Pacific Club wrap, or vegetarian chef’s choice). Gloria Brooks is COO of Pali Momi Medical Center, Hawaii Pacific Health’s West and Central Oahu hospital, with more than 30 years in healthcare, prior HPH health-information and hospital-ops roles, and board work that includes Kapolei Chamber of Commerce. Ed Chan, MHA, RD, FACHE, is President of Kaiser Foundation Health Plan & Hospitals in Hawaii and directs plan and hospital operations for nearly 275,000 members statewide; he also sits on the ACHE Hawaii chapter board. Robin Kalohelani is SVP & COO of The Queen’s Medical Center – West Oahu and Wahiawa, with more than 18 years inside The Queen’s Health System; the chamber page notes she opened Queen’s West Oahu and now leads a $300 million expansion that will double that ED. Chamber YP bills Exec Connect as a monthly C-suite format: eight seats, listen first, let the executive lead, no pitch. That filter is the quality signal. Healthcare is Circuit Honolulu’s other industrial stack beside hospitality and defense. Pali Momi and Queen’s West also pull the Kapolei / H-1 west household map into a Downtown room. Coffee Talks on August 13 is the open $15 seminar; HSBA’s Pacific Club night is the lawyer fundraiser. This lunch is neither.
