IANT’s Anand Bazaar is North Texas’s flagship India Independence Day festival—the 49th edition, hosted by the India Association of North Texas, a civic organization dating to 1962. Saturday, August 15, 2026 runs 2:00–10:00 PM inside Comerica Center at 2601 Avenue of the Stars in Frisco, billed as a heat-proof indoor stadium program. Entry is free. The day mixes a grand Independence Day parade (floats, youth troupes, community orgs), an authentic Indian food bazaar and vendor floor, classical/folk/Bollywood performances, and an evening concert with Shanmukha Priya and Ashish Kulkarni plus a laser-show finale. IANT also frames the year around America 250 and India’s 80th Independence Day.
Frisco is Circuit Dallas’s household-density map, not a Downtown skyline substitute. Collin County led U.S. Asian population growth in recent reporting; Asian Indians are the metro’s largest Asian subgroup, and Frisco’s Asian-alone share sits near 28%. Anand Bazaar is how that corridor actually gathers—families, vendors, temple and language-school networks, and small businesses that never appear on an Uptown Eventbrite page. Vendor, booth, suite, and sponsor paths are the compounding route for operators; public guests should treat it as community and market time, not a quiet deal room.
Saturday, August 15, 2026, 2:00–10:00 PM at Comerica Center, Frisco. Use the IANT event page for free public tickets, booth registration, parade RSVP, suite booking, and sponsor tiers. Tollway / US 75 / PGBT traffic into The Star / Comerica campus is real on a Saturday—arrive early if you are exhibiting. Bring cash for some vendors; confirm card acceptance closer to the day. Indoor stadium seating still means a long walking floor.
Dress for a festival, not a gala. Sponsor and vendor inventory is how businesses compound here; do not treat the stage as a cold pitch hour.
This bazaar is right if you need Frisco and Collin County Indian household, vendor, or civic density, or if you sell into that corridor. TIPS the following weekend is the physician CME room; US-India Chamber HealthCon later in August is the health-exec conference.
