CIE/USA-DFW 2026 Annual Convention

CIE/USA-DFW's 2026 Annual Convention is a full Saturday for Chinese American engineers, technologists, students, and industry partners. The theme is Powering the Intelligent Future: AI infrastructure, innovation, and workforce transformation. The afternoon splits into a Career Development workshop from 1:00 to 2:45 and a Think Tank Forum from 3:00 to 4:45. Both daytime tracks are free with advance registration. A VIP reception from 5:00 to 6:00 is invitation only. The banquet from 6:00 to 9:00 is a separate $180 ticket with lion dance, youth talent, awards, and a keynote from AI entrepreneur Skip Howard.

The Chinese Institute of Engineers traces to 1917 in New York. CIE/USA reorganized as the U.S. federation in 1977, and the Dallas-Fort Worth chapter was founded in 1989 by Dr. Faa-Ching Wang, later registering as a Texas nonprofit.
