Ascend Midwest Diwali Celebration

Hosted by Ascend Midwest, with CIBC

When
November 18, 2026 · 5:30 PM-7:30 PM CT
Where
CIBC, 120 S. LaSalle Street, Chicago, IL 60603Loop

Ascend Midwest and CIBC host the chapter's 2026 Diwali Celebration on Wednesday, November 18, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at CIBC, 120 South LaSalle Street in the Loop. The Ascend record promises South Asian cuisine, desserts, and activities. Members and students pay $15. Non-members pay $35. Online registration closes November 16. Contact on the listing is midwest@ascendleadership.org.

Ascend Midwest is the Chicago-area chapter of the pan-Asian professional network founded in 2005. Diwali is its fall cultural and networking evening, broader than the AEN lunch at PNC on November 12. That lunch is for senior executives. This night is the open chapter celebration with a posted student rate.

Go if you want a Loop Diwali room with Ascend and bank colleagues after work. Skip it if you needed the Japan America Society Keidanren briefing on November 20 instead. Those are different corridors. Register before the November 16 cutoff. The page does not describe a plus-one policy in detail, so read the checkout.

120 South LaSalle is a short walk from the LaSalle/Van Buren or Quincy stations. A 5:30 start means leaving a West Loop or River North desk with buffer for elevator lines. Business casual with festive color works. Screenshot the confirmation. CIBC is lending the room; Ascend is the host of record.
