In-House Connect’s Boston mixer is a screened evening for in-house legal professionals: GCs, associate GCs, legal-ops, compliance leaders, fractional GCs, and government counsel. The host series runs 50–100 person rooms nationally with drinks, dinner, and peer conversation—no CLE lecture block. August 19 is billed for 60-plus Boston attendees. In-house and government seats are free; non-in-house guests buy a ticket via the host. Sponsors listed on the page include Thomson Reuters, Chamelio, Foley & Lardner, and LawVu.
Boston’s hospital, biotech, and mutual-fund employers mint a large in-house legal bench that rarely shows up on founder Meetup calendars. IHC’s filter—verify your in-house or government role before the address drops—is the quality signal. Venue stays unpublished until approval, which is how they keep the room from turning into a vendor cattle call. The 60-plus Boston headcount is the host’s billing, not a guaranteed walk-in count—screening still decides who gets the address. Same week as MassBio’s North Shore mixer and BiotechTuesday: those are life-sciences graphs, not GC graphs. APABA-style bar association teas exist in other Circuit cities; this room is in-house only.
Wednesday, August 19, 2026, 5:30–8:30 PM ET in Boston. RSVP on inhouseconnect.org; wait for the venue email after screening. Bring ID that matches your registration. Non-in-house operators should email the host about paid tickets rather than assuming a free badge. Do not show up without confirmation. If you travel from Kendall or the Seaport, leave buffer once the address lands—Boston evening garage and T timing still applies even when the venue is a surprise.
Treat the night as GC-to-GC conversation. Leave outside-counsel pitch books at home unless you bought a non-in-house ticket and the host said that path is open.
This mixer is right if you are in-house, legal-ops, compliance, or government counsel in Greater Boston and want peer density without a bar-association gala. Kendall AI demos, Quincy vendor floors, and ACG dealmakers are different badges.
