2026 Summer AI+X Meetup @ The Engine

AI+X Meetup returns to The Engine in Kendall Square—the MIT-linked tough-tech campus for spin-off startups—for a summer night on how AI moves from models and demos into real industries. Host BlendED | GTC frames the room for MIT and Harvard alumni, affiliates, researchers, students, local AI builders, and investors. Format mixes a short keynote, industry talks, global student and startup demos, then open networking with beverages and light bites. An invite-only founder-and-investor hour runs from 5:00 PM before public doors at 5:30.

Kendall Square is Circuit Boston’s biotech-and-tough-tech gravity. The Engine’s track record as a home for MIT spin-offs is the quality filter: named campus, named university graph, programming beyond free drinks. BlendED | GTC is the Eventbrite host; The Engine is the campus. The 5:00 invite-only hour is founder-and-investor only—a public ticket does not include it. Eventbrite listed the public block as sold out at scrape time—treat that as live inventory, not a standing reservation. Same night as ACG Boston’s roof deck at 53 State. Those are different graphs: applied-AI builders versus middle-market dealmakers.

Wednesday, August 12, 2026, public program about 6:00–9:00 PM at The Engine, 750 Main Street, Cambridge. Check Eventbrite for waitlist or any released tickets before you plan the Red Line. Confirm door instructions and any badge or student-demo rules in the confirmation email. Kendall evening foot traffic is walkable from the T; still leave buffer for check-in. Waitlist is the only public path if Eventbrite stays sold out.
