NAAAP Atlanta Chopstix for Charity Gala

NAAAP Atlanta holds the 29th Chopstix for Charity gala on Sunday, November 15, 2026, at Spring Hall, 7130 Buford Highway Northeast, Suite A-100. The chapter's title for the night is Illuminate. Eventbrite, which the chapter links for tickets, lists 5:00 to 9:00 PM. The chapter page describes a celebration of leadership and community, plus the grants program. It does not list a menu, a dress code, or speakers. The grant application period on that page has closed.

NAAAP is the National Association of Asian American Professionals. The chapter says the gala was established in 1997 by OCA, JACL, and NAAAP Atlanta, and became a NAAAP Atlanta program after the chapter received 501(c)(3) status in 2002. JACL is the Japanese American Citizens League. OCA is the civic group now called OCA-Asian Pacific American Advocates. The chapter says the grants have awarded more than $800,000 to nonprofits that serve Asian American and Pacific Islander communities in metro Atlanta. You are in a room with the people who fund that work, business owners, and younger professionals the chapter is trying to keep.

This is right for Atlanta professionals who want a Sunday night on Buford Highway and care about the grants, and for small-business owners who use NAAAP as their pan-Asian network. Skip it if you only wanted Ascend's Wednesday symposium at Coca-Cola headquarters. That afternoon is a career program with an agenda still unpublished. This Sunday is the gala. Ticket prices are on the Eventbrite page. Read the live tiers there before you pay.

Buford Highway in the early evening is a drive from Midtown and from Duluth. Parking is at the venue. The closest MARTA stop is not at the door. The Eventbrite listing repeats the 5:00 PM start. If you are coming from the Ascend symposium four days earlier, this is the second Atlanta room of the week, and the one with the 29-year grant record. Go for the chapter and the grants. A speaker name belongs on atl.naaap.org before you treat it as part of the night.
